Tigers gunned down

A Newman Mwansamale kick sent Mighty Tigers Football Club-FC home faces down, in a second TNM Super League match.

The Tigers, also proudly called Kau-kau boys were coming from a clean win in their first match last week, which defined their good start of the season that kicked off after a 7 months suspension.

In the first half, both teams showed resistance to concede at The Mpira stadium in the township of Chiwembe in Blantyre, a ground both of them signed to use as their home ground.

The similarity of their power in defence and attack made the first half to end in a nil-nil draw, and wait for the second half.

The second 45 minutes brought the difference between the Kanjedza boys of Tigers and the Zomba based soldiers, through a goal Mwansamale scored, to make the lions victors of the match.

Red lions then have 6 points after another successful win in in their first game last week, while Mighty Tigers remain in their 3-points glory collected 7 days ago.
