Aubrey Nankhuni and Flames legend Peterkins Kayira are set to square off for the position of National Football Coaches Association Chairmanship during the upcoming elective general assembly.
The elections are due on April 24,2021, in the lakeshore resort district of Mangochi.
The winner between Nankhuni and Kayira will replace late Stuart Mbolembole who passed away in July last year.
A final nomination list released last night and seen by 2 FM also shows that Mcnebert Ogrive Kazuwa is set to go unopposed on the position of Vice Chairman.
Also going an opposed on the positions of Organizing Secretary, Treasurer and Vice Treasurer are Anderson Kamanga, Dingani Nhlane and George Ng’onamo respectively.
However, a two horse contest pits the incumbent General Secretary Davie Letala Mpima and ex-Dedza Young Soccer and Civo Service F.C coach Milias Jegwe Pofera on the post of NFCA CEO.
The slots for four executive Committee Members are all but sealed with Elias Gomile, Josephy Malizani, Chancy Msema and Karen Chaula making the grade
The nomination list summarizes the received submissions from the Regional Football Coaches Committees, the outgoing general Secretary Davie Mpima said in press statement.
He added: “FAM will therefore process electoral materials and discharge its role as Retuning Officer at the election”.
