Malawi U-17 off to Cosafa.

The Junior Flames are looking forward to a revenge over Zambia, as the Young Chipolopolo boys have been long persecutors.

The Malawi Under 17 Football Team is expected to leave today for South Africa to participate in the Cosafa Youth Championship.

Coach Declerk Msakakuona has named his final 20 member squad for the tournament, scheduled for Port Elizabeth between 19-29 November.

The team is expected to leave this morning through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.

The Junior Flames are in Group B alongside long time rivals Zambia, Botswana and Comoros.

Malawi Under 17.

They will begin their group stage campaign with a game against Botswana on November 20, before facing Zambia on Sunday, November 22.

Malawi will play its last group phase match on November 25 against Comoros.

The tournament will act as a Zonal qualifier for the 2021 CAF Under-17 Cup of Nations with two top teams making it to the finals expected to be held in Morocco.
