Malawi Queens major netball export Mwai Kumwenda was on cloud nine on Saturday morning when her stunning performance lifted the Australian netball giant Melbourne Vixens into the Suncorp Super Netball grand finale.
The minor premiers’ cruised past the Sunshine Coast after a dominant 63-47 victory over a disappointing Sunshine Coast Lightning at USC stadium.
Remarkably, in the match Mwai Kumwenda had a 96 percent conversion rate, netting 31 goals out of her 32 attempts to help her side into the title decider on October 18 in Brisbane.
According to www.abc.net.au, Mwai who recently became the German Sports wear Giant Puma Brand Ambassador scored 30 from 30 through the first three quarters before being benched.
Caitlin Thwaites, who is expected to have a befitting farewell alongside Tegan Philip who will retire after the grand finale, sank 25 from 28.
