Burkina-Faso international Bertrand Traore has returned to English Premier League for the first time since his departure from Chelsea to Lyon in France some three seasons ago.
Traore reunites with his former captain at Chelsea John Terry, now assistant coach for his new employer Aston Villa.
According to BBC Sport ,Aston Villa has coughed 17million pounds to acquire the services of the 25 year old Burkinabe gem.
Villa manager Dean Smith has since expressed delight at the acquisition of Bertrand describing his new catch as a player with immense talent, capable of enhancing the team’s attacking options.
Traore is Villa’s fourth major summer signing, following the arrival of goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Arsenal, striker Ollie Watkins from Brentford and right-back Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest.
