Wanderers dominated play throughout the match despite trailing 0-1 to Ntopwa just after the half hour mark through a Hendrix Misinjo’s goal.
From then onwards, the Nomads outclassed the Amagetto kids in a 4-1 Super League midweek encounter on Monday.
Goals from Peter Wadabwa, Babatunde Adepoju, Stanley Sanudi and Isaac Kaliati ensured that the Lali Luban move to eighth place on log table.
The Nomads leveler came in the 41st minute through Wadabwa before Babatunde’s goal at the stroke of halftime put th+69e home team in front.
Stanley Sanudi added the third in the 58th minute to give Wanderers a commanding 3-1 lead against the visitors. Twenty seven minutes later, Isaac Kaliati scored the fourth goal to put the match beyond Ntopwa’s reach.
The well-deserved 4-1 victory lifted Wanderers to eighth place from eleventh with 16 points, eight behind the city rival Nyasa Big Bullets, currently on third place due to superior goal difference over Ekwendeni Hammers, Red Lions and TN Stars respectively.
